What is borosilicate glass 3.3?

Borosilicate Glass is one of transparent colourless glass, through wavelength is between 300 nm to 2500 nm, transmissivity is more than 90%. Coefficient of thermal expansion is 3.3. It can acidproof and alkalifast ,the high temperature resistant is about 400℃C.If course handling , the high temperature resistant can reach 550°C or so.

Additionally, borosilicate glass 3.3 differs from other materials of construction used for process plant equipment because of its very low thermal expansion coefficient
